The last few weeks I’ve been very busy with all kinds of things, so that’s why you haven’t heard anything from me. There are a lot of nice people in an apartment called “the Bellmonte” in Sliema with whom I’ve been hanging out. I got invited to a nice dinner there and we also go out for drinks or we go to pace ville. My classmates are still very nice, people come and people go but the majority stays until June. This week three Dutch people arrived in Malta: 2girls and a guy, they all seem cool. I also want to see more of Malta so 2weeks ago I went to Gozo with Anna. It was a bit off a dull tour but the island is very pretty. I saw Calypso’s cave, corals in sea caves and the old citadel of Victoria. I’m planning on seeing more of Malta especially Comino, a small island between Malta and Gozo, it is very small but it has some beautiful lagoons.
A Turkish classmate invited me last week, along with a Mexican classmate and our teacher, to enjoy here traditional Turkish cooking. My teacher came to pick us up and drove us to Sliema, where the Turkish girl lives. The food and the company was amazing, but due to the amount of food we ate and the temperature we had to lay down on the couch for a long time. After drinking some Turkish tea our teacher took us on a tour through Sliema and we visited a couple of traditional houses with wooden balcony’s. After that, she dropped us off at home and that night I was going to the airport.
I shared a cab with the Mexican girl because she was flying to Turkey to see her boyfriend. The taxi arrived at 4 in the morning, so I didn’t sleep and came straight from pace ville. I was very tired when I arrived in Valencia but it was good to see Niels again. The first day we didn’t do much. We spend half the day at the beach enjoying the weather, afterwards we went to a Dutch restaurant and we ate a frikandel special. Witch was unbelievably tasteful. We also dropped by the formula 1 track near the harbor. That evening Niels cooked us some nasi goring, wich I really enjoyed! The next day we spend half the day walking through Valencia. We went to the cathedral and enjoyed the view, we went to the bull fighter arena, we visited Mestalla(the stadium of Valancia FC.). Valencia is a very green city, with a lot of tree’s and parks. At around 7 we went to the beach to take a refreshing dive. Afterwards we ate tapas in a local restaurant. That evening we went to a nice party near the sea with Niels’ friends. The party and the people were very awesome and I really enjoyed myself in Valencia. After 2 hours of sleep we had to get up and go to the airport. The flight was very short, we flew it under 2 hours.
When I arrived in Malta it felt like I was coming home again. It was a really weird but nice feeling. This week Is mostly spent on the beach and in the sun, last night we went to dingli cliff to watch the sunset. But because our bus was late we missed the transfer bus and we missed the sunset. But Dingli cliff is really pretty we spend there about an hour making a fire and chilling. And because it’s the last week of one of the Dutch girls we have a really tight party schedule so tonight will be another night in pace ville. It has been I while since the last report from Malta, but a lot is happening here and I will try to keep you informed as good as I can.

Hoi Casman,
Leuk om te lezen dat het zo goed met je gaat en je zoveel onderneemt. Hier in Delft is nu de examenstress toegeslagen. Febe is afgelopen maandag met Nederlands gestart en Inez heeft haar laatste cijfers teruggekregen. Alles voldoende en afgerond. Nu alleen haar portefolio afronden en nog wat gesprekken, dan is zij afgestudeerd. Ook Caroline is met de laatste loodjes bezig. Haar scriptie wordt komende week afgerond en nu maar hopen dat het genoeg is en ze haar master heeft gehaald. Ik ben lekker bezig in Amsterdam en heb gesolliciteerd op het TIO in Rotterdam om voor een aar uur per week les te geven aan studenten. Lijkt me wel geinig om mijn ervaringen met jongeren te delen en weer wat onderwijs te geven. Afijn hier dus ook best een druk bestaan. We blijven je volgen. Je hebt het echt ontzettend naar je zin, zo te lezen. Echt leuk!! Lekker van genieten.
Hier is het nog steeds rustig in buikenland, alles staat al wel klaar, dus de kleine mag van ons komen :-)

Lieve Cas, wat een leuk verslag volgens mij heb echt de tijd van je leven. Je hebt het maar druk met al je feestjes (en school? ha ha). Omdat het Hemelvaart-weekend is hebben we allemaal 4 dagen vrij. Marijn is afgelopen week gestart met haar examens, woensdag was Nederlands aan de beurt en volgende week heeft ze de andere 5 examens. We hopen echt dat ze het gaat halen en dat ze volgend jaar kan starten op het ID-college. Sanne is dinsdag in haar groep gebeten door een groepsgenoot!. Kan je het je voorstellen dat iemand onze Sannepop bijt? Nou wij ook niet. We zijn met haar naar de EHBO gegaan en daar zagen ze dat het gelukkig niet gebroken was. Ze heeft een tetanusprik en een antibioticumkuur gehad. Gelukkig draagt ze het als een echte stoere vrouw. We hebben gisteravond naar voetbal gekeken, jong-oranje onder 17 de finale tegen Duitsland. Met penalty's heeft Nederland weer de cup gewonnen. Nathan was geregeld in beeld en er was ook een interview in het AD. Leuk hoor dat het zo goed met hem gaat. Heb jij het nog een beetje gevolgd in Malta? aan de temperatuur te zien, zal jij wel weer richting strand gaan. Ik ga Sanne wat vla geven, tot skypes,
